DJ Drell (Andral Hagos) born in Los Angeles Ca, the son of a Chinese Filipino immigrant and Latin jazz vibraphonist and percussionist. He loves sharing his happy energy through music. His influences range from Michael Jackson, Prince, Cal Tjader, J Dilla, Tribe Called Quest, Neil Armstrong and Local SF DJ Mark Farina and The Invisibl Skratch Piklz. His current mixes are House Infused East-Coast Hip-Hop and Funk Undertones with Melodic Riffs and Soulful Vocals.

Drell began mixing and scratching vinyl when he was 11 years old. While underage, confined to the Vinyl DJ booth, promoters had to sneak him in to play club sets as he was too young to move about. While in college at UCSB, with local DJ’s like Steve Aoki, he performed at Downtown clubs and Isla Vista, sharing his jazz influenced hip-hop, funk & house breaks throughout Santa Barbara.
